Back to the Basics

Ok so its been awhile. I didn't expect to be away for this long. After Sugar Love's first Kickstarter failed I knew financially things would be tough but I got hit really hard with a stream of money problems. I try not to bother you all with my personal drama but I do want you to know that my hiatus was not voluntary. I will probably give a better speech about what I learned from my failed Kickstarter campaign in another post for right know just know that Sugar Love will be Back and I'm going to build my following a lot more before I ever launch another campaign again. So its back to the basics. I'm going through a transition financially right now so I won't have easy access to the internet so I will be posting pencil line art for a little bit. So heres hoping things get better, enjoy.

Hello everybody. My name is Andrew J. Pierce and I am launching a Kickstarter campaign for my graphic novel: Sugar Love's Galaxy Guide. This super sweet graphic novel is a weird science fiction story about an Amazon from outer space, named Sugar Love. She battles Tentacle Monsters with her space amazon sisters. The book has 48 pages of story and some pinup art in the back bringing it to 56 pages in total. Sugar Love’s Galaxy Guide has a Retro Science Fiction style to it, but is also inspired by echii genre anime and manga. Anime like Agent Aika and Queen’s Blade. I created, illustrated, wrote and colored this book so you know it has a lot of "Love" inside of it.

I Published Sugar Love

I officially published my first graphic novel, Sugar Love's Galaxy Guide, on 1/19/2017. So hopefully we will be seeing copies of it in comic book stores soon. I've been working hard setting up my own shop so I will be selling my graphic novel on my new website and at comic book conventions in Florida really soon. I will also be posting some new illustrations to promote my new characters so look out for those really soon as well.

Sugar Love... Coming Soon

I took a long hiatus from blogging about my artwork in order to finish my own original comic book. At last my graphic novel is finished and I will be selling it soon. I can't wait to introduce all of my crazy characters to all of you. I get really excited just thinking about it.

This comic book is about Sugar Love and her space amazon friends. Sugar Love and her mentor, Madam Hard Candy, have been sent to promote Honey on the planet Veria. But when a group of space bandits arrive the amazons must fight for their lives. In this adventure Sugar Love must battle against the oppression of darkness and study the origins of the Solar Love Amazons.

This is a story about amazons that fight tentacle monsters in outer space. Laser guns, super powers and booty. Lots and lots of booty. Discover the true meaning of the word “sexy” in this awesome science fiction graphic novel.

This graphic novel has 48 pages of story, plus pinup art and extras bring it up to 56 pages all together. I'm hoping to release the graphic novel in late January 2017 but stay tuned to find out the release date of Sugar Love's Galaxy Guide.
